Let’s talk about this stunning wedding venue. Located in Barkisland between a valley and close enough to Halifax for all the amenities yet hidden away in beautiful countryside that you feel your in the middle of no where.

Located just 5 minutes from the venue in Barkisland and the owners who lives next door has always been kind enough to allow us in to their beautiful garden for a few photos. (but i can’t promise this for each wedding)
Also known as the spinning room, plenty of natural light & a rustic feel
Perfect for all your guests this room can be decorated to your taste by your chosen stylist (or by your selves)
But the room looks already beautiful without it and doesn’t need too much here!
With a pavilion backdrop and lakeside views this venue has plenty of space for your family photos and couple portraits, Stacked with characater and charm and perfect for a big group photo.
With plenty of hidden gems dotted around the complex and a lakeside walk too you’re not short of picture space.
If you fancy a small walk you can also make use of some public fields for that golden hour sunset.
The venue has enough space to seat over 400 guests if you have that many friends or can be divided in to smaller sections for smaller wedding.

Aside from the bandstand the venue has many little qwerks and spots for photos in and around the grounds and a little lake to wonder around.
With a perfect mix or urban buildings and greenery it has enough to make the photos look amazing! and on a rainy day with everything on your doorstep you can easily nip out for your photos during a dry spell.

Yes under Calderdale council – be advised that the council won’t take a booking till exactly one year before the date though so its advised you ring up at 9 am exactly One year prior to get the time you want.
Admittedly its not blessed with as much greenery as other venues, but for your photos it has plenty available – a beautiful bandstand, some rustic interior and a small lake opposite, but if photos are a huge concern and you want to get else where then that’s also not a problem. there is always a solution!
Yes & Yes! providing the conffeti is bio-degradable , and sparklers are permitted here too!
