Disadvantages – Accommodation not as local as you would hope, Devonshire arms is an option but extremely expensive for guests.
Advantages – Amazing food, well priced through out the week and next to Bolton abbey for photos(However there is a charge to use it for photos)
2 - East Riddlesden hall - Keighley
Located in picturesque West Yorkshire, East Riddlesden Hall is surrounded by incredibly romantic formal gardens. These provide excellent opportunities for your photos and the perfect setting for your drinks reception.
Our venue is licensed for ceremonies in the rustic converted barn which also has plenty of space for the evening party where you can dance into the late hours. The barn boasts rustic wooden beams and stone walls, all illuminated by our stunning fairy lights. This magnificent backdrop will make the biggest statement on your wedding day. The Great Hall inside East Riddlesden Hall provides the perfect atmosphere for more intimate ceremonies – seating up to 30 guests.
Our spaces are an excellent canvas for you to personalise your theme how you wish, giving you a wealth of decorative options. By choosing us to host your wedding, you are also helping the National Trust to look after this very special venue.

3 - Esholt Barn - Shipley
Formally a working 18th century Yorkshire stone built barn, the venue is superbly presented, retaining most of its original characters with beautiful open beams, wrapped in fairy lights and lovely high draped ceilings. It has a large gallery staircase with roses entwined around the balustrades and an integrated dance floor together with a modern lighting and sound system. The downstairs is of both vintage and modern style and benefits from an open log burning fireplace. The venue has beautifully planted garden areas to three sides and a substantial car park.
Advantages – Extremely well priced, lots of accommodation near by, and easy to get to.
Disadvantages – Open to public as its attached to a golf driving range, split across 2 floors but has disabled facilities.
4 - Venue - barkisland halifax
A Large function space can seat up to 400, however, this can be divided into 2 or 3 sections affording complete flexibility. Our newest addition The Spinning Room seats up to 120 after being lovingly restored. The Venue is licensed for civil ceremonies in both our function rooms along with an outdoor wedding license.
Advantages – Extremely well priced, lots of accommodation nearby, and easy to get to, Food fantastic and staff are extremely helpful
Disadvantages – Located within an industrial estate so photo opportunities are a little limited but have a beautiful pond with some greenery near by
5 - Bunny Hill weddings york
Situated on the edge of the Wolds, deep in the Yorkshire countryside,
Bunny Hill is a modern barn with a high-end luxury interior.
There are grounds of around 12 acres dedicated to weddings, offering manicured lawns, strips of shady woodland and pretty walled courtyards. A peaceful and private location to host the most special of occasion.
On site self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 35 guests complete with a dedicated bridal apartment with far-reaching rural views and private garden with Jacuzzi. Operating much like a boutique hotel, couples have everything they need in-house including catering and bar services as well as on-the-day coordination, and a friendly front-of-house team
6 - Outbarn - Clitheroe
The Out Barn is unique in both its creation as well as its delivery. We are a flexible venue, family owned and run, sitting in 360 acres of stunning privately owned estate illustrating our true exclusivity

Disadvantages – Little out of the way for guests
7 - oakwell hall - Birstall
Oakwell Hall is a Grade I Listed Elizabethan manor house, furnished as a family home of the 1690s, complete with its own mysterious ghost. Oakwell Hall was also visited by Charlotte Bronte in the 1830s and it was immortalised as ‘Fieldhead’ in her 1849 novel ‘Shirley’.
Outdoors, you can explore 110 acres of Green Flag Award winning country park with period gardens, nature trails, mountain bike track, playground and picnic areas, gift shop and cafe.
